Teresa's First Blogaversary Blog Hop

Thanks for hopping with us today! Today we are all celebrating Teresa's First Blogaversary!! This is your last stop!!

A little over a year ago Teresa began her new blog to celebrate the fact that she wanted a change in her life. And for that change to be permanent came lots of prayer and leaning on God to give her the right answers. The answers He needed to give, not the answers Teresa desired. Well here she is 1 year later and Teresa is a Stay at Home Wife, loving life and doing all she needs to do to create a warm, loving atmosphere for her family!

With this in mind, the theme of this blog hop has been CHANGE! I am sure that everyone can relate with changes in your life. Each of us on this blog hop has shared things that have changed our lives or ways that our lives have changed, whether it be by choice, or having it thrust upon us.

There have been some hopefully inspiring projects today. I hope you didn't miss any of them!

You should have arrived here from Melissa's blog.

If you did not, please hop over to Teresa's blog and start there so you don't miss out on any of the great projects. Besides you need to leave comments along your journey so you can get entered to win Teresa's Blogaversary prize! The winner will be chosen on Monday 1/14.

My life went through some major changes in 2011. In December of 2011 fate brought an amazing man into my life. I was trying to just put one foot in front of the other. I had no idea where I was going. He swept me off my feet. He is my inspiration. He has changed my life in so many ways. I have rediscovered my love of life. I have found out what it is means to really be happy. Every day I wake up next to him I am thankful. Sometimes when changes are forced upon us better things are to come, we just can't see it in the depths of our sorrow.

For this layout I also used one of my favorite lines of paper....Heidi Grace!

Thanks again for hopping along and celebrating the changes in all of our lives.

This is the last stop on your journey! If you missed any of the 10 wonderful projects/blogs, please check out the list below and go back and see what you missed.

BEFORE YOU GO, please leave a comment so you can be included in the prize drawing back at Teresa's blog.

Just in case you got lost or missed someone, here is the list of all of your stops on this journey.

Daphne~YOUR HERE!!! END OF THE JOURNEY!

We hope something you seen along the way has inspired you!

HAVE A FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!

Kayaking with the Manatees this week

Well this week has been fun! Ron and I went out twice on the water in our kayaks at Blue Springs State Park.

We live less then 2 miles from the park and love going over there to hike, kayak and take photos.

This is me in my kayak with a friendly manatee. He kept coming up to my kayak and licking it. This was the first time I've seen a manatee so close! I was shaking it was so much fun!! This was Monday.

On Wednesday we went out of Blue Springs State Park again. This time we used our tandem kayak. We paddled a couple of miles on a new-to-us little river. It was very cool! It was packed with birds, turtles and gators!

We even found 2 nests of gators! We only saw 1 mommy with a couple babies. But one of the nesting areas had easily 15 babies! It was an amazing site. I paddled us quietly past as Ron took lots of photos.

This was the only manatee we saw on Wednesday. It was a mom and baby. They went under our kayak, but were not interested in checking us out like the cute guy on Monday.

It is great to get out and kayak after spending all day Tuesday cleaning and taking down all the Christmas decorations. Today it was back to cleaning and I am STILL trying get moved out of my old house. So my son and I spent 2 hours over there and finally the first room is TOTALLY PACKED UP!! That is a big milestone!!  Now to get back there next week a couple days and get a couple more rooms all packed up!

The next and the final stop is where you can enter to WIN blog candy.  There are (2) $25.00 gift certificates to A Muse Studio up for grabs.

Daphne here. I have been doing some kind of crafting all my life. I started down the scrap booking road over 10 years ago. I purchased a personal Cricut on the day it was released in Michael's. That was about 8 years ago. I have over 100 cartridges and a gypsy. I love using it, but for this welcome project. I decided not to use my Cricut. But you can be sure I am going to be using it plenty in the projects to come!

I have created a wall hanging/canvas. I first painted the canvas with some acrylic paint. The letters are sketched with a pencil and then I went over them with a Zig brush tipped pen in the color denim.

The little bird at the top is on a stick. He is an AMuse stamp. I stamped him, cut him out then covered him with Flower Soft so he looks fluffy.

May all your wishes come true!!
