12 Days of Christmas...DAY TWO!!

Today I thought everyone would like a little inspiration to get those Christmas cards going...or done! This is a cute and simple little card using Christmas scraps!!

Just cut a few little strips of scraps and adhere them at an angle. Tie a cute piece of twine around the front of the card, make sure you wrap it twice. Then either punch or cut two circles, one slightly larger then the other. Stamp a cute Christmas image on the white, smaller circle. I added a little bling to the center of the snowflake. Use a thin pop dot to adhere the little circles.  Then stamp a tiny sentiment on the top.

This is a simple pattern that can be used for just about everything you can think of....birthdays, congratulations, welcome, baby, new house....you name it! This is a fabulous way to use up some of those scraps you have been hanging on to because they are so pretty you hate to toss them!!

Today I have a cute little repurposed tray! I am willing to bet many of you have some of these little trays. They are from the little wooden veneer shapes. I have a bunch of the trays and have been trying to figure out something to do with them. Well this blog hop got me to thinking. This is what I came up with! I am going to make a couple of them and put them around on little plate stands.

I cut some scrap Christmas paper into little squares. Used some liquid glue to attach them into each little spot. Then I dug through my Christmas stash and found some buttons and 3-D stickers and cute little resin shapes. I used Glue Dots to attach them in the squares.

I created this fun little item to hang in my refrigerator during our Thanksgiving feast for everyone to enjoy.

I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut all the words and little do-dads. I even cut the label itself. The leaf aand the piece of wheat are actually silk flowers that I cut apart.

 For today's project I created a cute little bell pull wall hanging.

The cute little Peanuts characters are attached to a strip of wide ribbon using red double-sided tacky tape. The Peanuts characters are little wooden shapes I picked up after Halloween a couple of years ago and have never gotten around to doing anything with them. I colored them using Prisma Colored Pencils. At the top of the ribbon there is a grommet/eyelet so I could hang it on a nail.

For my project today, I created....

This 12 x 12 layout is of a photo from last summer at Daytona Beach. I discovered that after years of hating the beach I now LOVE the beach. I grew up in Maryland and the beaches there are not like the beaches in Florida. Well I love spending time at the beach now. The photo is of my good friend Kim and I just hanging out and soaking up some sun.
